Welcome to Michele Ogilvie's URBAN DIDJ
Today, many contemporary musicians incorporate didgeridoo sounds and rhythms into world music, pop, beatboxing, electronic, and contra music, as well as shamanic rituals and sound healing. The name Urban Didj represents a break from tradition, emphasizing both sound and visual aesthetics, as each receives equal attention in my instruments. Much care is invested in harvesting, crafting, and tuning my instruments. Each stick reveals a unique personality of its own.
